Corruption weapons are powerful variants of weapons found throughout Remnant: From the Ashes and its DLC, Swamps of Corsus. They can only be obtained by completing specific dungeons or by consuming a World Stone at the Ward 13 Bell Tower. Corruption weapons deal increased damage to bosses and mini-bosses but cannot be repaired traditionally, so must instead be repaired by consuming Scrap. Corruption weapons also deal less damage to non-boss enemies.
Due to their increased power against bosses, as well as their ineffectiveness against non-bosses, Corruption weapons are best used by players who are specifically farming bosses or mini-bosses. For general gameplay, a non-Corrupted weapon with high base damage will perform better.
